300 Hour: Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program

This program is designed to teach students how to become outstanding yoga teachers and provide safe, effective and inspiring instruction.

The American Yoga Academy is widely known for its Yoga Teacher Training Certification Programs. The program is fun, informative and provides students with an in-depth study of Postures, Breathing Techniques, Meditation, Human Anatomy, Yoga and Pregnancy, Business of Yoga, Yoga Techniques Outside the Classroom, and many styles of Yoga uniquely blended together creating a beautiful flow.  You will learn to teach and live Yoga on and off the mat.  The American Yoga Academy provides students with a template for learning and encourages the individual's creativity to flow.  The Yoga Teacher Training Class meets once a month on Sundays (sometimes twice a month) from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Participation includes our Yoga, TaiChi and Pilates Classes at The Spa at The Short Hills Hilton which are open to all teachers in training.

This program, designed for beginner and intermediate students provides in-class group training and home study materials. Previous yoga experience is not required. The American Yoga Academy is a registered school with the Yoga Alliance.  (The Yoga Alliance is an organization which created a national standard).  Take your first step to becoming a Certified, Registered Yoga Teacher or just take your yoga experience to a higher level.
